Category:British Rail Class 08 D3956 (TOPS 08788)

English: D3956 entered service with British Railways in April 1960 and was renumbered into the TOPS series as 08788 in February 1974. It was withdrawn in January 1994 and sold for preservation on the Great Central Railway. In 1999 it was sold to RT Rail for industrial service and in 2007 to RMS Locotec. It has operated at many industrial and main line sites including two lengthy spells at Inverness depot.
